This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette was acquired by the seller in 2020 and has been modified with an LS1, a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission, an aftermarket chassis, and C4 Corvette front and rear suspension. The car is refinished in red over black and further equipped with a Positraction limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, 17″ Curtis Speed wheels, power rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning, a RetroSound AM/FM radio, a Lokar shifter, and Dakota Digital gauges. This modified C1 is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.The car is refinished in red with white coves, and features include a black convertible soft top, quadruple headlights, split chrome bumpers, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. A paint crack is shown up close in the gallery.The 17″ Curtis Speed wheels are mounted with 225/55 Goodyear tires. The car rides on a replacement chassis said to have been fabricated using Art Morrison components as well as C4 Corvette-sourced front and rear suspension. The car is also equipped with power-assisted rack and pinion steering, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes backed by a Wilwood master cylinder.
